Question 1

What is Moonovi and how does AI image editing work for product photography?

Accepted Answer

Moonovi is an AI commercial product photography studio and professional image editor. Rather than using generic text-to-image prompts that warp your products, Moonovi uses your uploaded photograph as an immutable structural anchor. It synthesizes photorealistic commercial studio backgrounds, realistic contact shadows, reflections, and natural lighting while locking 100% of your product logos, stone settings, and silhouettes.

Question 2

How does Moonovi compare to Pebblely and PhotoRoom?

Accepted Answer

While tools like Pebblely and PhotoRoom offer generic background replacement, Moonovi is purpose-engineered for high-end e-commerce categories (Fine Jewellery, Apparel On-Model, Footwear, Bags, Cosmetics, and Food Packaging). Moonovi features strict letter-casing preservation, stone mask protection, physical contact shadow synthesis, and an autonomous community template library where users earn free credits. Furthermore, Moonovi requires zero monthly subscription fees—credits are pay-as-you-go and never expire.

Question 3

Can I use Moonovi generated photos commercially on Amazon, Shopify, and social media?

Accepted Answer

Yes, 100%. Every generated image includes full commercial usage rights with zero royalties or attribution required. Renders are ready for Amazon listings, Shopify stores, Instagram ads, print packaging, and wholesale lookbooks.

Question 4

Do I need professional lighting equipment or prompt engineering skills?

Accepted Answer

No. A simple smartphone photo taken against a plain wall or desk is all you need. Moonovi translates visual selections—such as surface material, studio lighting style, and aspect ratio—into calibrated commercial prompts under the hood, requiring zero prompt engineering.

Question 5

How does the Community Template Sharing and free credit rewards loop work?

Accepted Answer

When you upload an inspiring custom scene, you can voluntarily share it with the community. Moonovi's AI automatically replaces your product with a neutral matte-grey 3D geometric placeholder to protect your brand privacy. Once published, you receive 1 free generation credit, and other merchants can stage their own products on your scene preset.
